Easy to use application
For starters what could be easier than a skincare regime that includes just three simple steps, with the products already specifically selected and formulated for you and your acne-prone skin?
The first step in the system is to cleanse your skin with the Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel. This easy to apply gel is gentle enough to use morning and night by simply lathering between wet hands and massaging onto skin. You can also apply the purifying gel to your body as well as your face, so the blemishes on your back or chest can be addressed too.
So far so easy to use. Next up is the Effaclar Clarifying Toner, this toner has also has a quick and easy application method to save you time on a busy morning or late evening. Dispense some of the toner onto a cotton pad and swipe around you problem areas to see pores tighten and skin become mattified.
Finally the Effaclar DUO[+] is the last step in the three step system, and is suitably stress-free. Apply to your face morning and/or evening to stop marks from forming and unclog pores.
Addresses multiple acne-prone skin concerns
So clearly the 3 step system is easy to use, but does it address the many skincare concerns that those with acne-prone skin have?
If you suffer from spots you probably know that they came about due to a mixture of excess sebum, bacteria, and dead skin cells clogging up your pores. So it goes without saying that excess sebum is one of the number one things those with acne-prone skin are looking to address. The Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel controls excess sebum whilst ensuring skin remains purified and hydrated. Meanwhile the formula itself addresses the sensitive skin issue that many people with blemishes suffer from. Having skin that is prone to breakouts means that it’s important for those with blemishes to choose products which respect their sensitive skin; the purifying gel is enriched with La Roche Posay Thermal Spring Water to soothe irritated and uncomfortable skin.
Similarly the Effaclar Clarifying Toner has been tested on acne-prone skin, to ensure that even the most sensitive of skin can successfully use this product. Another common concern for those with acne-prone skin is controlling shine and the appearance of pores. The Clarifying Toner mattifies the skin’s texture and pores appear tightened, resulting in a shine free appearance. The Salicylic acid in the toner also addresses spot concerns. Salicylic acid acts as a keratolyitc and breaks apart dead skin cells that clog pores, leaving skin exfoliated and clear.
Effaclar DUO[+] may pack a punch when it comes to treating and preventing acne-prone skin concerns, but the sensitivity issue is still at the heart of the product. Procerad is one of the active ingredients found in Effaclar DUO[+]. In essence, Procerad never allows spots to grow to a size that means they are able to leave red or brown marks. Those with acne-prone skin needn’t be concerned that their phototype will not suit this product, from fair to dark, Effaclar DUO[+] works on all phototypes. With help from LHA’s in the formula, DUO[+] unclogs pores effectively whilst the Pioctone olamine in the formula ensures there is no bacteria left inside pores.
Doesn’t dry out skin whilst treating
So if the Effaclar 3 step anti-blemish system targets and prevents blemishes and is easy to apply, surely it must be drying to the skin?
Wrong!
Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel cleanses the skin, whilst also respecting it. The formula ensures skin will feel purified and cleansed without stripping it of moisture. Similarly the Clarifying Toner leaves skin feeling matte but also smooth.
Effaclar DUO[+] offers up to 24hr hydration to encourage repairs. It can also be used as a daily moisturiser for those with blemishes. The formula makes it perfect for those worried about drying, and it can be used in conjunction with other skincare treatments!
Finding the perfect formula for skincare success has never been easier. Three easy to use products, all working towards the same goal; beautiful skin!
