How does it work and who is it for?
Effaclar Duo(+) Ultra-Concentrated Serum is suitable for those with oily, blemish and acne-prone skin who are also concerned with ageing signs. It targets breakouts, reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and marks, tightens pores, and regulates sebum production.
It does this with a formula that combines salicylic acid, LHA and glycolic acid to help unclog pores, visibly smooth the skin’s surface and stimulate skin cell renewal. Niacinamide, an ingredient known to reinforce the skin barrier, helps to combat moisture loss and fight dehydration while La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water helps to reduce irritation.
How should I use it within my routine?
Start your routine by cleansing your skin with Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel Cleanser. (This is particularly important in the evening as it will remove pollution, makeup and sunscreen from the skin and leave the pores clear). Follow this with Effaclar Duo(+) Ultra-concentrated Serum and a few drops of Hyalu B5 Serum for an additional anti-ageing effect.
If you feel that you need extra hydration, especially in winter, apply a thin layer of Toleriane Ultra Crème to soothe and hydrate the skin. Don’t forget that in the morning, a broad-spectrum sunscreen such as Anthelios Ultra-Light Invisible Fluid SPF50+, should always be applied.
